BLT Ranch Pasta Salad Delight

A vibrant and satisfying pasta salad that blends classic BLT flavors—bacon, lettuce, tomato—with creamy ranch dressing and tender pasta, perfect for gatherings or easy meals.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (rotini or similar)
  • 8 slices crisp cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1.5 cups grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cups crisp lettuce, chopped
  • 3/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
  • Optional: 1 diced avocado
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water until cool, then drain again.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped bacon, tomatoes, green onions, and chopped lettuce.
  3. Add ranch dressing and mayonnaise (if using), and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the dressing for creaminess as desired.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, give the salad a final toss and add any optional toppings like avocado, extra bacon, or shredded cheese.

  • Use short pasta shapes like rotini or bowties for best texture.
  • Stir before serving to redistribute dressing.
  • Best served cold or at room temperature.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
