- 8 slices crisp cooked bacon, chopped
- 1.5 cups grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 2 cups crisp lettuce, chopped
- 3/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- Optional: 1 diced avocado
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water until cool, then drain again.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped bacon, tomatoes, green onions, and chopped lettuce.
- Add ranch dressing and mayonnaise (if using), and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the dressing for creaminess as desired.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, give the salad a final toss and add any optional toppings like avocado, extra bacon, or shredded cheese.
