- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced potatoes and cook until golden and slightly tender, about 10 minutes.
- Push potatoes to one side of the skillet and add ground beef.
- Cook beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant.
- Stir potatoes and beef together, then season with paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in milk, stirring to coat the potatoes and beef.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the skillet.
- Cover and reduce heat, letting cheese melt for 3–5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
