  • 10 fresh jalapeños, halved and deseeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup cooked bacon bits
  • Optional: 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • Optional: 1/4 cup breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Halve and deseed jalapeños. Wear gloves to avoid irritation.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spoon or pipe the mixture into jalapeño halves.
  5. Top with bacon bits, green onions, or breadcrumbs if desired.
  6. Place on baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm.
