Ingredients

  • thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • hoagie rolls or baguette
  • onion
  • bell pepper
  • provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté onions and peppers until soft; set aside.
  2. Add steak to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until desired doneness.
  3. Return onions and peppers to the pan; stir to combine.
  4. Place steak mixture on rolls, top with cheese, and broil briefly to melt cheese.
