  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Cotija cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add shredded chicken and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook for 3–5 minutes until chicken is heated through and coated with spices.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
  5. Assemble tacos by adding seasoned chicken to each tortilla.
  6. Top with avocado slices, Cotija cheese, and chopped cilantro.
  7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
