Cinnamon Sugar Pancakes with Syrup

Fluffy pancakes infused with cinnamon and sugar, served warm with butter and syrup for a sweet breakfast treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Heat a lightly buttered skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with butter and plenty of syrup.

Notes

  • Add chocolate chips or pecans for extra flavor.
  • For stronger cinnamon flavor, sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top while cooking.
  • Keep pancakes warm in a low oven until serving.
