  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze with chicken broth and stir in heavy cream, lime juice, and zest. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in chopped cilantro and return chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Simmer another 2 minutes.
  6. Finish with butter for extra richness if desired. Serve hot with rice, pasta, or vegetables.
