- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits.
