  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits.
  3. Add heavy cream and lemon zest. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet and cook for a few minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken. Top with Parmesan if using and serve warm.
