Crispy Honey Garlic Steak Sliders

Crispy Honey Garlic Steak Sliders are mini gourmet sandwiches packed with seared steak, melty cheddar cheese, and a sticky-sweet garlic glaze, all nestled in buttery toasted slider buns—perfect for parties or game day snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 slider buns or mini brioche buns
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into small chunks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (for searing)
  • 68 slices cheddar cheese or 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • Baby spinach or arugula (optional)
  • Butter (for toasting buns)
  • Honey Garlic Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Season steak chunks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak until browned and cooked to your liking. Set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar. Simmer until slightly thickened. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Butter the cut sides of the slider buns and toast on a skillet until golden.
  5. Assemble sliders: layer greens (optional), steak chunks, drizzle of honey garlic sauce, and cheddar cheese on bottom buns. Top with remaining buns.
  6. Optional: place sliders in a warm oven for a few minutes to melt cheese.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and gooey.

Notes

  • Sirloin or ribeye works best for juicy steak bites.
  • Cheddar can be swapped with mozzarella, provolone, or pepper jack.
  • Customize with toppings like caramelized onions, pickles, or jalapeños.
  • Reheat in oven or skillet to preserve texture; avoid microwaving buns.
  • Sauce and steak can be made ahead and stored separately.
