- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a small bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Spread the mixture over the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, mix stuffing mix with 1/2 cup water (and frozen vegetables, if using).
- Spoon stuffing mixture over the creamy sauce in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Fluff the stuffing before serving. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use cream of mushroom or celery soup for variation.
- Can be made with chicken thighs for more flavor.
- Stir halfway through if you prefer moister stuffing.
