Easy Chocolate Brownies

Simple, rich, and fudgy chocolate brownies made with basic ingredients. These brownies are quick to prepare and satisfy any chocolate craving.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  4. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
  6. Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter to ensure fudgy brownies.
  • For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or drizzle melted chocolate on top.
