- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups (340g) semisweet chocolate chunks
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
