Garlic-Parmesan Baked Chicken Breasts

Garlic-Parmesan Baked Chicken Breasts are juicy, tender fillets coated in a flavorful garlic and parmesan crust, then baked to golden perfection. A simple, protein-packed dish ideal for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian-style)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush each chicken breast with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Press the chicken into the Parmesan mixture to coat thoroughly on both sides.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra juiciness, pound chicken breasts to even thickness before baking.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
  • Pairs well with roasted vegetables, salad, or mashed potatoes.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
