Grilled Chicken Breast is a simple, healthy, and flavorful dish featuring juicy chicken breasts marinated and cooked to perfection over a grill. Ideal for meal prep, salads, or a light dinner.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness for more even cooking.
  • Can also be cooked on a grill pan or skillet indoors.
  • Use leftovers in wraps, salads, or sandwiches.
