Grilled MEAT Chops

Juicy, flavorful grilled meat chops seasoned with simple spices and seared to perfection over high heat.

Ingredients

  • 4 meat chops (pork, beef, or lamb)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Optional: fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Pat the meat chops dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and lemon juice.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chops.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Place the chops on the grill and cook for 4–6 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  6. Check internal temperature: 145°F (63°C) for medium (varies by meat type).
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • Letting the meat rest helps keep it juicy.
  • Thicker chops may need extra grilling time.
  • Marinate the chops for 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
