- 12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices mozzarella, provolone, or cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- Without separating the slider rolls, slice them in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
- Layer the cheese slices evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Place the top half of the rolls on top to form a sandwich block.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, onion powder, and salt.
- Brush the herb butter generously over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is fully melted.
- Let cool slightly, then slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
- Customize with your favorite cheese blend—spicy pepper jack or creamy Swiss work well too.
- Add deli meat like ham or turkey between the cheese slices for extra heartiness.
- Leftovers can be wrapped in foil and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
- Try adding a drizzle of hot honey or pesto inside for a flavor twist.
