  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add carrots and cook for 5–6 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter. Once hot, stir in honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  3. Add the cooked carrots and toss to coat in the glaze. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and optional herbs before serving.
