- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp lime zest
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish (optional)
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
- Grill chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
