Mini Key Lime Pie Cups with Whipped Topping

Miniature key lime pies in handheld cups—tangy, creamy, and topped with light whipped cream for a perfect bite-sized dessert.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 jar (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup key lime juice (fresh or bottled)
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • Mini lime slices or zest (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press about 1–2 tbsp of mixture into the bottom of mini cups or jars to form crust.
  2. In a bowl, whisk sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla until smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. Pour lime filling over crust, filling cups nearly to the top.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or until set).
  5. Before serving, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Pipe or spoon whipped cream onto each mini pie cup.
  7. Garnish with mini lime slices or extra lime zest and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use bottled key lime juice if fresh is unavailable.
  • Stir in a drop of green food coloring for festive presentation.
  • Make ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours; add whipped topping just before serving.
  • Add a teaspoon of cream cheese to the filling for extra richness.
  • Top with graham cracker crumbs or a sprinkle of cinnamon for garnish.
