Orange Creamsicle Truffles

Orange Creamsicle Truffles are sweet, bite-sized treats with a creamy white chocolate and orange-flavored center, coated in white chocolate for a nostalgic citrus-vanilla flavor reminiscent of a creamsicle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14 oz) vanilla sandwich cookies (like Golden Oreos)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp orange extract
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or melting wafers, divided
  • Orange food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the vanilla sandwich cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. Add softened cream cheese, orange extract, and orange zest. Pulse until fully combined and dough-like.
  3. Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, form mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 20–30 minutes.
  4. Melt 8 oz of white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add a few drops of orange food coloring if desired.
  5. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and return to baking sheet.
  6. Melt remaining 4 oz of white chocolate and drizzle over truffles for decoration.
  7. Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use high-quality white chocolate for smoother coating.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • To make them more citrusy, add a few drops of orange juice to the filling mixture.
