Ingredients

Scale
  • 46 black or green tea bags
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1 ripe mango, diced or sliced
  • 6 cups water
  • 24 tbsp honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 12 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • Additional fresh fruits like strawberries, orange slices, or blueberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil water and steep black or green tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool to room temperature.
  2. Stir in honey or agave syrup while the tea is still warm, if using. Adjust to taste.
  3. Wash and slice peaches and mangoes. Optionally add other fruits like strawberries or orange slices.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine brewed tea with the prepared fruit. Add lemon juice if using.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
  6. To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the chilled tea over. Add fruit slices and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Mix with sparkling water for a fizzy version.
  • Use herbal teas like hibiscus or rooibos for a caffeine-free option.
  • Add lemon or lime slices for citrus flavor.
  • Freeze small fruit pieces in ice cubes for extra flair.
  • For an adult twist, add peach schnapps or white rum.
  • Include a cinnamon stick or ginger for spiced notes.
  • Use frozen fruit to help chill the tea and reduce prep time.
  • Store tea in the fridge up to 3 days; remove fruit after 24 hours to prevent bitterness.
