Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, salt, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and spread the pecan filling evenly over it.
  4. Roll the pastry tightly into a log from the long edge.
  5. Slice into 12 even rolls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with a light egg wash.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Drizzle with a simple powdered sugar glaze for extra sweetness.
  • Toast the pecans beforehand for a deeper nutty flavor.
  • These rolls are best enjoyed warm but can be reheated in an air fryer or oven.
