  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until smooth.
  3. Stir in peppermint extract if using, then spread the dark chocolate evenly on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes until set but not fully hard.
  5. Melt white chocolate using the same method.
  6. Pour white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top, pressing gently to adhere.
  8. Refrigerate until completely set, about 1 hour.
  9. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
