Pistachio‑Filled Chocolate Bars

Pistachio-Filled Chocolate Bars are decadent homemade treats featuring a rich dark chocolate shell filled with a creamy pistachio center — a perfect balance of nutty, sweet, and luxurious flavors.

  • 8 oz dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp pistachio butter or almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: extra chopped pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler until smooth. Set aside half for sealing and topping the bars.
  2. In a food processor, blend pistachios until finely ground. Add sweetened condensed milk, pistachio butter, salt, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Line a silicone chocolate mold or mini loaf pan with parchment if needed.
  4. Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate into the bottom of each mold cavity. Let set in the fridge for 5–10 minutes.
  5. Spoon or pipe the pistachio filling into the center of each mold, leaving space at the top.
  6. Cover with the remaining melted chocolate and smooth the tops. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until fully set. Carefully remove from molds and serve or store.

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for a smooth shell and clean snap.
  • Pistachio butter can be found in specialty stores or made by blending pistachios in a food processor.
  • These make great edible gifts when wrapped individually.
