Sautéed Zucchini with Tomatoes and Basil

- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
 
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
 
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
 
- 2 tbsp olive oil
 
- 1/4 tsp salt
 
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
 
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
 
- 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
 
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)
 
		 
	 
	
		
		
			
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
 
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
 
- Add zucchini slices and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly golden.
 
- Add cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for another 3–4 minutes until tomatoes begin to soften.
 
- Stir in balsamic vinegar if using and cook for 1 more minute.
 
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
