Sheet Pan Sausage Pizza Squares

Sheet Pan Sausage Pizza Squares are a crowd-pleasing, easy-to-make meal featuring golden baked crust, savory sausage, melty cheese, and zesty tomato sauce, all baked on a single sheet pan and cut into convenient squares.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casing removed
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • All-purpose flour, for dusting
  • Fresh basil, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Lightly oil a sheet pan.
  2. On a floured surface, roll or stretch pizza dough to fit the sheet pan. Transfer to pan and press evenly into corners.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess grease.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  5. Top with cooked sausage, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Sprinkle oregano and red pepper flakes over the top for added flavor.
  7. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  9. Let cool slightly, then slice into squares and garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked pizza dough for quicker prep.
  • Add your favorite toppings like bell peppers, onions, or olives.
  • Leftovers reheat well in the oven or air fryer for extra crispiness.
