- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing bread)
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (for tomato mixture)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush baguette slices with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
