Veggie Bread Pizza Bites are a quick and easy snack or appetizer made by topping bread slices with pizza sauce, cheese, and assorted vegetables, then baking until golden and bubbly.

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (red, green, yellow)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes (deseeded)
  • 1/4 cup sweet corn kernels (boiled)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for greasing)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking tray with olive oil or butter.
  2. Cut the bread slices into quarters or rounds, depending on your preferred bite size.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over each bread piece.
  4. Top with chopped vegetables: bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and corn.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the veggies.
  6. Season with Italian seasoning, red chili flakes, and a pinch of salt.
  7. Place the prepared bread bites on the greased tray.
  8. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  9. Serve hot with ketchup or any dip of choice.

Notes

  • You can use any type of bread: white, whole wheat, or multigrain.
  • Add olives, jalapeños, or mushrooms for variation.
  • Toast the bread lightly before topping if you prefer a crispier base.
  • Air fryer or stovetop tawa can be used instead of the oven.
